A FAMILY PROJECT
Yekta is 13. Every month, she and her family choose one meaningful way to help: a person, an animal, a neighborhood, the planet. This is the record of what we've tried, what we've learned, and how you can join in.

OUR MISSION
At the YEKTA Initiative, we believe that every child can make a difference, kindness grows through action, families change communities together, and small acts, repeated consistently, create lasting impact. Guided by these beliefs, we complete one meaningful community project each month, inspiring young people and their families to serve others, care for the environment, strengthen their communities, and invite others to do the same. Our mission is to nurture a generation that chooses compassion, creativity, responsibility, and purposeful action.

THE RIPPLE
Yekta notices something
Her family takes action
Someone else tries it too
That's the whole idea. Not a big campaign, just one family's action, repeated, shared, and picked up by someone else in their own neighborhood, their own way.
YEKTA started with one family and one small idea. We'd love for it to spread: with your own family, your own community, your own kind of kindness.
